Title announcement

We are incredibly excited to announce that we are to publish a fine press edition of H P Lovecraft's masterpiece AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS.

Lovecraft's epic novella was written in 1931 and published in Astounding Stories in 1936 having been rejected by Weird Tales editor Farnsworth Wright. It concerns Miskatonic University geologist Dr William Dyer's doomed expedition through the primordial mountains of Antarctica, a masterpiece of Cosmic Horror and science-fiction and our most requested title to date.

We are also delighted to announce that this edition will be illustrated by French artist, Maéna Paillet who produced all the cover artwork for the Bragelonne editions of Andrzej Sapkowski's work, including The Witcher novels. Maéna has collaborated with numerous publishers and produced album covers for leading metal bands. Her dark, expansive visions of hostile landscapes are infused with a chilling, sublime beauty making her the perfect choice for this project. You can view her portfolio of paintings here: https://www.artstation.com/maena

This epic title deserves an epic fine-press edition. In order to showcase both the artwork, typography and letterpress printing skills of Pat Randle and Ellen Bills at Nomad, we are looking at producing a book around 12 x 8 " when bound, so larger format than our usual titles.

AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS is a signature title and will be available to pre-order from March 2027 ( exact date TBA) Please take a look at our schedule as we have slightly tweaked the order of titles. The proceeding title is TRAUMNOVELLE (Dream Story) which is available to pre-order on 9th December 2026 and gives customers rights to Mountains of Madness.

We will be sending out a production update on our pre-ordered titles shortly.

Our best wishes

Eli
