The Fisherman by John Langan

When I first started illustrating and working on the mock-ups I was digitally painting the artwork for The Fisherman. After a while I started to experiment using watercolours and I painted the image of Abe and Dan fishing at the creek. I really liked the image, it had an emotive quality that felt just right for the novel so I decided to paint the whole book traditionally.

I have just updated the Artists Edition book designs which of course have changed from the pre-order mock-ups, I hope you like them as much as we do, and that the artwork helps capture some of the key moments in the book, and John's unforgettable imagery which ranges from emotional tenderness to the epically weird and horrifying.
