Lettered Edition METROPOLIS by Thea Von Harbou

The lettered edition of Metropolis is designed and bound by master bookbinder Jacek Tylkowski. It is presented in a full honey leather binding executed in the Bradel structure, featuring a deep blind-tooled design across the entire cover. The tooling is taken directly from the original artwork, creating a subtle, sculptural surface that reveals itself through light and shadow rather than contrast. The book is housed in a custom soft leather chemise, gilt stamped title on the front and lined with soft suede on the interior. The complete set is enclosed in a bespoke clamshell box, covered in a. combination of leather and cloth, with the title and publisher's mark stamped in two colours to echo the binding and chemise.
