Consisting of only 350 copies in three states, Artists Edition, Deluxe Edition and Lettered Edition. The Fisherman has been designed and illustrated by Elijah John with eight full colour illustrations including two double page fold outs all of which have been tipped-in by hand.
 
The book also contains black and white pen and ink pieces including chapter headers and vignettes which have been printed letterpress.​

The book will be printed letterpress by Pat Randle and Ellen Bills of Nomad Letterpress on their Heidelberg.
The title page will be printed in blue and black. ​
The typefaces are set in Minion Pro, with Hermann types for display.

Quarter bound by Roger Grech in J Hewit & Sons black chieftan goatskin over a beautiful handmade lokta paper with striking silver snake skin pattern in metallic silver to mimic the skin of the Leviathan.

Rounded with sculpted leather headcaps and hand foiled titles to the spine with silver stamped hook motif. 
​
Letterpress-printed on Liber Charta 120 gsm.

Housed in a handmade slipcase capped with black dubletta cloth and panelled in black Mulberry (Kozo) paper. This crossed threads which make up the structure of the paper perfectly represent the thousands of crossed cords and wires with which Leviathan is bound to 'Der Fischer.'                                                 
Sewn binding with 8 full colour illustrations including two double page fold-outs tipped-in by hand
